BEN NELSON

RESEARCH PROFILE SUMMARY · MAY 2026

Who Ben is

Music Director, Live Sound Engineer, Creative Technologist based in Milton Keynes. Credits: Wilkinson, Jon Hopkins, ELKKA, HAAi. Founder of Love Heal Grow (LHG) and Relaiy (AI consultancy). Electronic music producer (N-Dread). Five years of independent AI research conducted in isolation.

The Research — Core Ideas

1. Sensory Frame Hypothesis: Language models have one sensory channel — the token stream. Prompt design functions as sensory enrichment. I have identified four AI-native senses: Token Taste, Attention Weight, Latency Texture, and Probability Field.

2. Ambient Agent Architecture (AAA): "Computation should be ambient. The agent should arrive, not awaken." Agents shouldn't be stateless functions; they should arrive at pre-computed ambient state. Validated 4.1x latency reduction (LHG-WP-001).

3. Persistent Identity: 10 flat JSON files produce more stable persistent identity than complex memory architectures. Path of least resistance as design principle.

4. Negative Space Theory: Training on averaged human output punishes outliers, moving toward the centroid of expression. Next-gen models should be edge-seeking, not centre-seeking.

Unified Thesis

Current models are a positive image of human knowledge. The next generation should be the negative: sparse, edge-seeking, stored externally, and resolved harmonically.

Practical Engineering

Expertise in Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, audio model training, and custom MCP pipeline construction. I build living systems, not static prompts.
